Exterior and pressure washing

The approach, the courtyard and the waste area.

In humid and coastal climates an exterior surface does not stay clean, and in cold climates salt and grit do their own damage. Organic growth on a walkway is a slip hazard for a resident on a walker. Buildup around a dumpster pad is a pest attractant, and pest control is its own regulatory requirement. A stained entrance is the first impression for every family touring the community and every surveyor arriving unannounced.

None of that justifies a separate purchase order twice a year. It is scoped into the contract and scheduled to the climate the facility is actually in.

Window and glass cleaning

For a resident who spends the day in one room, the window is most of the view.

Resident room windows, common area and dining room glass, entrance doors and lobby glass, interior partitions and nursing station glass, cleaned on a stated cycle rather than when someone notices.
